Architects

As architects seek to design green, energy efficient and sustainable buildings they will want to consider re-use of materials made available through deconstruction.   Use of reclaimed materials is important to any architect who seeking to secure LEED certification, developed by the US Green Building Council  The voluntary LEED certification is still the most recognized green certification for new construction and renovation of existing structures.

The lumber, doors, mantels, counters, sinks, trim and architectural details that are available through the Deconstruction Depot which is located at 945 Edwin C. Moses  Blvd. Dayton, OH 45408 can provide critical LEED certification points.  In addition, architects may want to cite in their plans that the builders will donate the new construction waste materials to Dayton Works Plus in order to secure additional LEED points.

Architects interested in learning more about the Deconstruction Depot or Dayton Works Plus, should call 937-259-1898.
