The gifts of our donors and supporters make it possible for East End to reach out to children, teens, families, adults and the elderly in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in Dayton. Your gift helps us work with the following target populations, changing lives and improving the community.
We reach:
- 108 children and 350 teens through our afterschool, summer programs, teen programs and our joint projects with East End Community School who are provided tutoring, and prevention programs. For the last three years, this afterschool program has helped children achieve better standardized test scores than a comparison group.
- 617 parents and individuals who are assisted with finding employment or securing housing, health care or other crucial services, provided by bilingual and trilingual staff.
- 300 children through our pediatric clinic associated with Reach Out of Montgomery County and Miami Valley Hospital.
- 1,400 households living in Twin Towers through outreach, housing programs, trainings, workshops, festivals and other events.
Your gift helps young struggling families improve the quality of their life through employment, education and training.

Your gift is extended by volunteer hours by committed adults, interns and other volunteers including more than 1,500 hours completed by area neighbors and teens devoted to painting houses, improving the neighborhood, preparing meals, operating events and responding to other families.
