East End Community Services partners with neighbors and organizations interested in making the community a healthy, caring and prosperous place. We are always growing, taking on new projects and ideas that work best in our neighborhood. Recent projects include:
A Taste of Community: an event where over 800 neighbors gathered together to promote culture, civic engagement and safety. This event was brought about by a partnership of the Twin Towers Neighborhood Association, New Hope Church and other local organizations.
Twin Towers Alley Sweep: volunteers
joined the Dayton Police Department to clean up alleys in the Twin Towers Neighborhood. Montgomery County Solid Waste brought trash trucks and crew to sweep the streets of litter and larger items that take away from community beauty.
Monthly Family Night: the second Thursday of every month, families come together at Ruskin PK-8 School to learn about financial literacy, public safety, health and wellness in a fun and engaging way that gets the whole family involved.
