East End Community Services is committed to providing high quality services and measuring the effectiveness of the programs on identified outcomes. During the year, we use evaluation results to shape changes in the program using a continuous quality improvement model. Our goal with evaluation is to make sure that the services or programs that we are providing are making measurable differences in persons lives. With each program, we look at what are the intended benefits to the persons that participate and what must happen to create those results. To accomplish this goal, East End uses a logic model for each program which connects the activities being delivered to the intended outcomes for the persons served. Our evaluation efforts have been shaped by the consultation and training that we received from Michael Quinn Patton, Ph.D. and Colleen Mahoney, Ph.D., both evaluation experts. The principles of continuous quality improvement call for regular monitoring of successes, failures and issues relative to providing services and for staff, customers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm possible solutions to those problems, implement solutions and then again collect data to measure results. The following graphic shows the Continuous Quality Improvement Model.
To the right you will find an overview of the evaluations completed for programs. Click on each one for a report.
