Work Experience Program

East End is a provider of the Work Experience Program, which is designed to help parents who are receiving cash assistance through the federal requirements of the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program in order to become self-sufficient.  Individuals participate in one or more of the following:  Job Search/Job Readiness classes where they are taught interviewing, resume development, job seeking using the Internet, etc.; internships at work sites throughout Montgomery County that teach job skills; and supportive services to remove barriers to success.
